Vintage Sylvac blue ceramic teapot from the c. 1950s-1960s. Finished in Sylvac’s classic glossy blue glaze with raised floral detailing, this is a well-proportioned mid-century piece that works equally well as a functional teapot or decorative display item. A timeless example of British pottery design from the period.
Base has the impression 1585 MADE IN ENGLAND.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. The glaze shows light, even crazing consistent with age and typical of mid-century ceramics. There is a small glaze imperfection on the rim from manufacture (visible in photos); this is a production feature, not a chip or later damage.
Size: 19cm wide x 16cm tall
