Jo Luping NZ - Nikau Palm Wall Art Pottery Tile
This small handcrafted pottery wall tile by New Zealand ceramic artist Jo Luping features a stylised Nikau palm, rendered in rich turquoise and teal glazes with a softly crackled finish. The organic form and colour palette give the piece a calm, distinctly New Zealand feel.
Designed to be wall-mounted, the tile has a recessed indent on the reverse, allowing it to sit neatly on a hook or nail. Its compact size makes it ideal for gallery walls, small display spaces, or layered arrangements alongside other Kiwiana and studio ceramics.
A charming example of contemporary New Zealand pottery, celebrating native flora (without being shouty about it).
Size: approx. 9.5 × 5 × 1.3 cm
Condition: Excellent pre-owned condition with no chips or cracks.
Collector Note
This piece forms part of our 80s to Today Ceramics Curated Collection, showcasing studio ceramic design from the 1980s onward, with an emphasis on expressive forms and contemporary handmade pottery.
