Vintage Painted Pacific Pottery NZ Dish by Charlie Seakins (Signed)

Vintage Painted Pacific Pottery NZ Dish by Charlie Seakins (Signed)

A striking hand-painted vintage New Zealand pottery plate featuring stylised black pampas grass set against a soft crackle-glaze background. Beautiful!

Created by Chalie Seakins, this piece comes from the artist’s Kiwiana / Muriwai sand range, where each plate is entirely hand painted and finished with a glaze containing tiny flecks of black sand sourced from New Zealand’s rugged west coast. The result is a subtle, tactile surface that adds depth and a strong sense of place to the design.

The pampas motif is bold yet restrained, making this an understated decorative accent that works beautifully in modern, mid-century, or nature-inspired interiors.

The plate measures 15cm square, is signed on the reverse, and is in excellent vintage condition, with no cracks or chips to note.
