MIRO New Zealand Geometric Ceramic Wall Tile Trio
A decorative New Zealand–made ceramic wall tile set by Miro, likely dating to the late 20th century.
Each tile features a bold geometric layout with textured crackle glaze and glossy moss-green sections, giving the set real depth and presence on the wall. The earthy palette and sculptural thickness make these feel more like wall art than decorative tiles.
Each tile measures approximately 11.75 cm square and 1.2 cm thick. The set is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks, and all three tiles retain their original hanging hardware. The glazed surfaces show light crazing in places, consistent with age and studio-made ceramic wall art.
Fully marked on the reverse, this is a cohesive set that works beautifully together and is increasingly hard to find complete. A great statement piece for a mid-century, boho, or modern interior.
Collector Note
These pieces form part of our 80s to Today Ceramics Curated Collection, showcasing studio ceramic design from the 1980s onward, with an emphasis on expressive forms and contemporary handmade pottery.
